Shofu OneGloss Set is 2 in 1 aluminium oxide impregnated smart polisher designed for clinicians who prefer the convenience of an all-in-one solution to shape, finish and polish direct restorations with one instrument.

Finish and Polish all tooth coloured direct restorative materials by simply altering the contact pressure. More pressure with intermittent water for finishing and feather light pressure for polishing.

• The degree of smoothness achieved on the restoration surface is determined by simply altering the contact pressure.
• Pressure of approx 1.0 Newton with intermittent water – for finishing

• OneGloss polishers are made using a high concentration of aluminium oxide with silicone as a binder.

• Seat the unmounted polisher onto the dedicated mandrel, OneGloss Mandrel, securely.
• Do not use unnecessary strong force and improper angle when seating the unmounted polisher onto the mandrel in order to avoid damages to the polisher.
• Insert the shank completely into the chuck of the handpiece (micro motor), following the manufacturer’s instruction. Perform test run to check safety and smooth operation without run-out prior to use.
• Apply heavy pressure for finishing and feather light pressure for polishing
• Use at rotation speed of between 3,000 min-1 to 10,000 min-1 with intermittent water spray. Avoid exceeding maximum permissible speed, 15,000 min-1.
• Use saliva ejector or suction to eliminate moisture and debris during the procedure.
• After using OneGloss Mandrel, Mini-point, remove any contaminants immediately, disinfect and sterilize. Dispose the unmounted polishers (Cup, Midi, IC) after each use.

Recommended pressure for all the shapes are 1.0 N for finishing and 3.0 N for Polishing Purposes.
